Showtime announced the release of a new documentary on the December musical films of Jeff Beck, Korn guitarist Brian "The Head" Welsh, GG Allin and the Agnostic Front. The network looked through all four titles in a brief trailer with interviews and live footage.
Jeff Beck: Still on the Run The premiere, Tuesday, December 11, will take place at 7:30 pm. ET / PT and then Agnostic front: Hardcore godfathers on Wednesday, 12th place at 7 pm ET / PT; GG Allyn: Everything in the family on thursday, the 13th at 10:00. With the Beck documentary, director Matthew Longfellow talks about the early life and musical development of former member Yardbirds, whom Rolling stone the fifth largest guitar player of all time. The project will touch the early days of Beck playing home guitars, "his teenage friendship with [Led Zeppelin’s] Jimmy Page and mastering his technique throughout his famous career.
In the film “The Agnostic Front,” director Ian Macfarland plays guitarist Vinnie Stigman and singer Roger Miret three decades after helping to form a hardcore punk movement. WITH All in the family, director Sami Saif explores Alin's life as a controversial figure in shock-rock and punk – from his troubled childhood through adult life filled with drugs, violence and imprisonment. AT Loud love Crazy, filmmakers Trey Hill and Scott Mayo are focused on changing Welsh’s life from Korn in 2005 and his journey of fatherhood and self-discovery.
