Lucas Dean sent a message to the Everton fans after his red card in the second half of his team’s victory over Huddersfield with a score of 1: 0 on Tuesday evening.
The Blues went to John Smith Stadium, desperate for victory, with a shock outing of the FA Cup at Milwall on the weekend, which further underlines the unsatisfactory result in recent form.
And the side of Marco Silva brought three points to please the support of travelers thanks to the blow of Richarlison in the first minutes after the good work of Tom Davis.
However, the second half was a battle thanks to the replacement of Dinh, who was dismissed just 11 minutes after he was put into action, and a quarter of the match has yet to be played.
Everton's defense and goalkeeper Jordan Pikford, in particular, held out firmly to prevent the home team and ensure that it was vital three points – and the French defender is full of praise for his teammates.
The defender tweeted a message in which he thanked them for their struggle and apologized to the supporters for the red card.
He said: "Great victory, guys, you fought like a soldier [sic] yesterday I apologize for the red card but most importantly +3 [points]".
Dean will now miss the upcoming Everton-Wolves match at Goodison Park due to suspension, and Leighton Baines will also face a race with time to get ready for Saturday's game.
