Honda Passport narrows the gap in the SUV market

Touring and Elite versions are equipped with an optional GPS navigation system, interior lighting and audio systems with 10 speakers. Other great features include heated rear seats, glossy black interior and 4G LTE Wi-Fi port.

From the point of view of practicality, the Passport is represented by a compartment of the rear seat and the general internal space of the widest segment. The capacity of the trunk is 1566 liters and rises to 2,205 liters, if the rear seats fold (with one button). There is also a storage compartment of 70.8 liters.

The Honda Passport is equipped with a 3.5-liter V6 engine with 280 horsepower and 262 lb-ft (354 Nm) torque combined with a 9-speed automatic transmission and optional all-wheel-drive all-wheel drive.

The new SUV, designed for the SUV, is equipped with an intelligent traction control system, including the usual modes of operation of sand, snow and mud in the 4WD AWD versions.

Honda says the system helps passports to have better off-road capabilities than their competitors in the same segment.

The passport uses the Honda Global Light Truck platform and shares most of the structure with Pilot and Ridgeline. Thanks to this solid structure, a passport can pull up to 2,268 kilograms.
