Acts of copying and using images in Vietnamese currency without permission are illegal.
The city branch of HCM State Bank has just warned that people selling black envelopes with Vietnamese money and using cotton coins worth 5,000 won or less are lining up for sale. This behavior violates Article 3, paragraph 3, of the Prime Minister of Decision No. 130 of 2006 on the protection of the Vietnamese currency.
The Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee immediately appealed to the city’s police and market management department to coordinate with the branch of the city’s state bank for verification and strict treatment using Vietnamese currency images in violation of the rules.
Illegal deals with small money, especially in places where festivals and beliefs are held at the beginning of the year, are also necessary.
This step was taken by the city to prevent the copying and use of images in Vietnamese currency without the permission of the competent authorities; at the same time, protecting the image of the Vietnamese currency and limiting the negative consequences of using small faiths.
