Sergio Novelli, a Venezuelan journalist, recorded a video in which he responded to a charge against him made by Emanuel Andrade, son of the former treasurer of the nation, who was sentenced to 10 years in prison in the United States for corruption.

“Before some comments that have arisen around me, I comment: you know me. I trained at RCTV, and I worked on radio and other television channels, such as Globovisión. Although there, I had an image of stellar news and several clients, including a well-known insurance company associated with the channel. That's why they paid me for my work in the Bolivars in 2013, ”Novelli said in a video posted on his Twitter.

Andrade published an image in the stories of his Instagram, in which Novelli with Dayana Mendoza, Miss Universe 2008, who animated the insurance company party.

The journalist, who stressed that he had been in the profession for more than 28 years, explained that he had left the TV channel when he saw that he "has the freedom to keep saying what I want."

“My career is talking about me. I have nothing to hide, said Novelli.
