In a video published this morning, the one that was filmed on the last day of Creed II, the actor Sylvester Stallone showed that he hung his gloves with Creed II to play it last time, like Rocky Balboa.
In the video, he talks to some of the actors and the film crew of this film, saying that it meant to him that the character he had created was able to return two more times after he thought it was done:
“Well, this is probably my last rodeo, because what I thought happened, and it happened, I never expected. I thought Rocky ended in 2006 [Rocky Balboa]And I was very pleased with it. And suddenly this young man introduced himself, and the whole story changed. It passed to a new generation. New problems. New Adventures. And I could not be happier when I retreat, because I was told that there is a new world that will be open to the audience, with this generation. Now you [pointing to Michael B. Jordan], must wear a mantle. "
Along with the video, Stallone thanked the fans for the fact that his character has been adding for more than forty years: “Unfortunately, everything must pass … and end. Keep punching, I love you with kind and generous people, and Rocky loves you too.
Stallone’s final entry into this role can be seen in “Creed II” currently in theaters. Stallone is currently shooting "Rambo: The Last Blood", which is expected to be his last game in his other most iconic role as John Rambo.
