CLEVELAND (AP) – A person familiar with this deal says that Cleveland's gentlemen agreed to exchange veteran Kyle Corver ahead for Utah Jazz.
Korver, one of the best long-range shooters in NBA history, goes to jazz in exchange for two future choices for the second round, said the man who spoke on Wednesday Associated Press subject to anonymity, since the swap must be approved by the NBA. Trade may not be official until Thursday.
ESPN first reported on the exchange.
37-year-old Korver returns to Utah, where he played from 2007-10. He became expendable this season in Cleveland, because the Cavs are in recovery mode after losing LeBron James as a free agent and are acquiring assets.
Cleveland is only 4-15 playing on Wednesday in Oklahoma City.
Korver joined the Cavs in 2017 by switching to Atlanta trading.
