KODY, WYLO (AP) – Kanye West was denied permission to build an amphitheater at his Wyoming ranch.
The Park County Planning and Zoning Commission decided Tuesday after the rapper changed his plans for a structure near Cody.
West told county officials that he now wants to include living space.
The Cody Enterprise reports Officials also object to the fact that the West has already done significant work on the spot. They told Western representatives to stop work immediately.
Kane Morris of Point Architects in Cody apologized, saying that West stepped forward as soon as he changed his mind and stopped work.
West bought a ranch this year and plans to move the headquarters of his shoe and apparel company, Adidas Yeezy, to Cody.
