Limited Run Games – a company that specializes in producing limited edition physical versions of digital games as the name suggests – has confirmed that physical editions of Scott Pilgrim Vs. Mir: The Game sold over 25,000 copies in less than three hours.
While the game is available for pre-order on both PS4 and Nintendo Switch, these numbers only apply to the Switch version, making the achievement all the more impressive and celebrating the company’s “biggest release of all time.”
“In less than 3 hours we sold 25,000 copies of Scott Pilgrim on Switch!” – tweeted Douglas Bogart of Limited Run Games (thanks, Siliconra). “Thank you so much for your support in making this our biggest release of all time!”

Limited Run Games announced three boxed versions Scott Pilgrim Vs. World: Game for PS4 and Switch a few days ago. The physical editions were available for pre-order on Friday January 15th and will be available for six weeks thereafter.
IN standard physical edition Scott Pilgrim: The Game will set you back $ 35 and includes a new ticket to the Clash at Demonhead concert, double-sided cover, and a full-color instruction booklet. Or you can opt for the $ 55 Classic Edition, which comes in a case that seemingly was inspired by the Sega Genesis gaming cases. Finally, there is the KO version for superfans. It has a case that, when you open it, gives you a full concert with lights and music from the American chiptune band Anamanaguchi.
All physical editions of the game include the complete edition, announced in September to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Scott Pilgrim: The Game. The Complete Edition includes the base game and two DLC packs: The Knives Chau and Wallace Wells. Limited Run says that while physical editions are only available for pre-order for Switch and PS4 at the moment, the Xbox One version will arrive “in the future.”
You still have time to grab one if you’re interested; pre-orders are open until the end of February 2021.
