Ukraine has officially registered the Kiev Metropolis of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (Orthodox Church of Ukraine). The relevant information has been entered into the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, Individual Entrepreneurs and Public Formations, reports Ukrinform.
According to the registry, the CCA is registered as a legal entity under the name "Kyiv Metropolis of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (Orthodox Church)" on January 30, 2019. The location of the registered PTsU indicated: Kiev, st. Three Saints, 6.
Recall that during the unification council on December 15, 2018, Metropolitan Epiphanius of Pereyaslavsky and Belotserkovsky was elected head of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine. On January 6, he received Tomos about the autocephaly of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine from the hands of the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew. The enthronement ceremony of Epiphanius will take place on February 3 at the Sofia Cathedral in Kiev.
