Goncharuk promises a heating season without problems
The heating season in Ukraine will begin without any problems, except for two cities – Smila and New Section. This was stated by Prime Minister Alexei Goncharuk in his video blog.
He noted that in Smila and the New Section, the heating season may begin a few days later.
“Now I can confidently say that in all cities the heating season will begin without any problems. The only exception is two cities – Smila (Cherkasy region, – ed.) And New Section (Lviv region). There are still some technical difficulties and problems – and perhaps heating will begin a few days later, "he said.
Goncharuk noted that the reason is that private companies supplied heating in these cities – and they "created critical situations by their actions."
Earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed that there is a threat of disruption to the heating season in Ukraine. At the same time, the president noted that he was dealing with this problem.
RBC-Ukraine reported that at the last meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine they decided to create a working group to solve problems with the beginning of the heating season.
