Google announced that the Stadia cloud gaming platform will launch on November 19. At the start, only owners of a paid subscription can use the service.
In November, Stadia will be available in the United States, Canada and most of Europe. When the service will appear in Russia, it is unknown. To start the games immediately after the release, you will need a Stadia Pro subscription, which so far can only be purchased in the Founder's Edition kit with a controller and a Chromecast Ultra device.
Stadia Pro will cost $ 9.99 per month. For this money, users will get improved image quality (up to 4K at 60 FPS), free games (starting with Destiny 2: The Collection) and discounts in the store. The basic version of the service will start in 2020. With it, you can play in a resolution of no higher than 1080p. The exact release date has not yet been announced.
Google Stadia is a cloud service for gamers, with which you can run games on any supported device: from a TV to a smartphone. Company representatives noted that to use Stadia on a computer, a proprietary controller is not required.
