They found them on a beach near Surtenville in northwestern France.
"During the preliminary investigation, we concluded that they are probably the seats of the missing plane." AP quotes a statement from British investigators.
Rescuers officially closed the search for Salo and pilot David Ibbotson on Thursday afternoon after three days without a positive result. Nevertheless, the family of the missing player earned money in a public collection for private searches involving several famous players.
