America’s best-selling truck, the Ford F-Series, celebrates its 73rd birthday today.

Built in the post-war period, this practical, reliable car has gone through 14 generations and the current model was introduced last year.

The modern Ford F-Series continues to be the most requested truck in the United States, while the classic mid-20th century old-timers are immensely popular.

Particularly well-preserved examples from the period, which, restored or modified, can still be seen on American roads today.
