Instagram reported on Monday that it removes fake watchers, loves and comments user-created applications to make accounts more popular than they really are.
“Recently, we have seen that third-party application accounts are artificially expanding the audience,” Ingram said in a blog post.
"Starting today, we will begin to take our favorite, false observers and unauthorized comments from accounts using third-party applications to increase their popularity."
Instagram uses self-help software to help identify the accounts that use such applications and remove unauthorized products, which violates the terms of service.
Instagram said it will notify users of comments, comments or deletions that have been deleted.
People who are unknowingly associated with the violation of the application, just have to change passwords to turn off social, photo and video ads.
