If you are still drooling on Lamborghini Urus, the brand recently unveiled its version of the race specification, called the Lamborghini Urus ST-X concept, to get you to race for this box of fabrics. The recently introduced SUV will compete in the one-time brand championship, which will start in 2020. The new edition of the ST-X was developed using materials from the Squadra Corsa brand. The new Lamborghini Urus ST-X concept is 25 percent lighter than the standard model, but still weighs about 1.7 tons. As you would expect, the new Lamborghini Urus ST-X concept gets changes from outside and inside to be faster than the standard model.
First, the new Lamborghini Urus ST-X concept gets a green cover, and the hood is made of carbon fiber for weight reduction. The rear spoiler is now larger and the super SUV comes with a hexagonal exhaust frame. The Lamborghini Urus racing range runs on 21-inch single-nut aluminum alloy wheels, which come with a powerful Pirelli rubber coating. The SUV also gets large air intakes in the front for better performance, while the large air vents on the hood also make it cooler in a more efficient way.
The power of the beast is the same 4-liter engine with two turbo V8 engines, which controls the standard Urus, generating the corresponding power and torque of 650 hp. and 850 Nm. The Urus Special Ledge also receives several FIA-approved safety bits, such as a fire extinguishing system, an FT3 fuel tank and a steel frame.
As already mentioned, the recently introduced Lamborghini Urus ST-X will participate in one-time championships on FIA-approved tracks in the Middle East and in Europe. The races will include both tracks and off-road races in order to justify the possibilities of Urus. Like Ferrari, it is expected that the “arrive and drive” system will attract more people to drive the Urus ST-X, which ultimately led to an increase in sales of Lamborghini cars.
