ILOILO CITY – Regional Police Office in West Visaye (PRO-6) ordered a thorough investigation into the killing of a retired police officer who allegedly had references to the murdered drug lord.

The main soup. John Bolalacao, director of PRO-6, ordered investigators to immediately identify and arrest the criminals involved in the SPO2 ambush of Rolando Alagh on November 20.

Supt. Jom Malong, a spokesman for PRO-6, said police officers 1 are looking at the murder, adding footage from nearby cameras will be used in the investigation.

One of the two men on a motorcycle opened fire in Alag on the last morning of Tuesday in the Barangai villa Anita, here.

Malong confirmed that Alag was included on President Duterte’s drug list, as intelligence reports claimed that the retired policeman provided protection for the syndicate with the big-time syndrome.

“He is a highly valued target level 2, identified as a defender of the Odicta drug group,” Malong told reporters here.

Alag was the second person associated with alleged drug lord Melvin Odictika, killed within two months.

Attorney Edellio Romero, attorney for Odictas, was shot dead in Roxas City, Capis, on September 28, 2018.

Odicta, the alleged leader of the drug group Odicta, which had previously worked in West Visaya, was killed by his wife, Meriam, in the mooring port of Caticlan in August 2016. Action never defined.

Alag entered the police service on August 6, 1982. He was appointed to the Iloilo City Police Department until he took advantage of his additional retirement on January 31, 2009. / Cbb
