Answers on questions
Last year, V. Gustayte-Bubnene created “Erškėtrožių vantas” without a well-known expert – the late cartoonist A. Radvilavičius, with whom he published two epigrams and cartoons. Thus, the woman had to use the creative heritage of A. Radvilavičius, which was entrusted to her by the late daughter of Jolanta Tridend. By the way, it would be the book of the fifth master of the cartoon A. Radvilavicius.
Readers of this third, creative book of the duet will find spontaneous oral and drawing answers to various questions of today. For example, what is the significant difference between a sitting and a walking child when sclerosis is diagnosed, what kind of crosses a child carries in a kindergarten that patiently tolerates for someone that may be affected by the legs of a museum, where tax enthusiasts fall, etc. Authors The books are admired for thoughtfulness, wit, an unexpected approach to perverted topics or current affairs. This style of creation was also characteristic of the two previous books of this creative duet, which were not accidental.
He chose cartoons
According to V. Gustaityte-Bubnene, it belongs to the Club of Poets “Golden Rose” of the Kaunas Siauliai Community Center, which was founded by A. Radvilavičius in particular.
It is clear that this acquaintance influenced the beginning of the joint work, but Vida probably would not have dared to take upon herself the genius of the epigrams, which is unusual in her poetry if Alexas Dabulskis did not “bless” many of her first steps in this creative bar for many years. backwards That is why the poet V. Gustayte-Bubnene, long ago, accepted the offer of cooperation of A. Radvilavičius with international cartoon waters, a member of the Association of Lithuanian cartoonists, the magazine Šlütos a few years ago.
Vida admits that she is very pleased to create an epigram at first glance at the naive caricatures of A. Radvilavičius, their characters are rounded figures with cranberries. The developers are close, understandable to the usual dialogues of these characters, able to bind a carefully hidden, but well-known truth. Vida chose cartoons for herself from the great cartoonist's artistic heritage.
The caricaturist’s creative rejection is filled with cartoons with his laconic dialogues, but even in such cases, Vida complements interesting drawings with his epigrams. Some of them can be counted even without drawing. For example: "Do not be afraid / do not disappoint everything – or just reach the bottom / let's start … rise" or "Unhurt / slick / whose name / KGB". However, there are a lot of cartoons in the book, where their author did not record any dialogues.
V. Gustaitytė-Bubnienė emphasizes the content of such drawings with its epigrams or gives them modern colors, expands the meaning of cartoons. In a caricature reflecting the title of the book, one of the naked baths folds the thistle, and Vida explains this episode to the moral epigram: “Only self-made / will help if vanilla / from the heart!” offensive comment: "Ancient – Viagra / Tablet, and / and Toothbrush / Facial glow."
In the book, the mood settings of its creators are observant, ironic, sometimes changeable, often cause laughter through tears, but never insult. Mentioning the first anniversary of the caricaturist A. Radvilavičius, this darkly entertaining book was published by his daughter Jolanta and the epigram by the writer V. Gustaityte-Bubniné.
