Conditions that Atlantia does not consider sufficient to submit a proposal are conditions repeatedly confirmed by the company, as it made it possible to evaluate investments, starting with an insufficient business plan. Today, only Delta’s commitment lies on the table — along with the FS, Atlantis itself and the Ministry of Economy — 10% of the capital with investments, which the Americans confirmed in the amount of $ 100 million. USA.

The German company once again showed itself decisive in its line: no Germans are willing to buy shares in this Alitalia. If and when the carrier will be reorganized, if and when in practice costs and jobs will be drastically reduced, it will be possible to talk again. But at the moment, for a German company, the solution to this issue is solely for commercial partnerships, and not for equity investments (even the estimated double compared to Delta, up to 200 million euros).
Therefore, Delta remains the only true international bidder, although it has not revised its proposal upward. And this is not enough for Atlantis. An international partner has yet to be found.
