Ahmad Sakhal: the rejection of religious rules is not blasphemy

Jakarta – Former director of the Freedom Institute, Ahmad Sakhal, found it ridiculous to reject religious rules (sharia rules and gospel rules) as blasphemy against religion. According to Sakhal, there was no connection between the rejection of religious rules by blasphemy or blasphemy.

“In my opinion, it is ridiculous to assume that the rejection of religious rules, both the rules of Sharia and the rules of the Gospel, is blasphemy against religion,” said Sakhal in Jakarta on Sunday (11/18).

Sakhal mentioned several reasons why religious rules have nothing to do with blasphemy. First, he said that sharia rules are local rules, not sharia. According to him, perda is an artificial, legitimate product.

“Regional rules are adopted by regional parliaments together with local authorities, which means that the norms are man-made laws. If the sharia is created by God, scientists form and interpret it in the form of fiqh, ”he said.

Secondly, Sakhal said, those who rejected the Sharia Perdu were not only PSI, but also prominent Islamic figures, such as KH. Hasim Muzadi, when he was the chairman of PBNU and the former general chairman of the PP, Muhammadiy Bui, Safi Marif. In addition, according to him, there are still many other figures.

“Check the news in 2006, when Kyay Hasim really wanted to give up the rules of Sharia. The reason for this was that they refused to formalize Islamic law in the form of a positive law that was considered unacceptable for a diverse Indonesia, and also because it was perceived as threatening Indonesian tolerance and unity. Hasim and Bui as religious figures? "he explained.

Third, the continued Sakhal, which was rejected by the PSI, was not a religion, sharia or gospel. However, according to him, those who were rejected by PSI were satisfied with regional norms that were discriminatory and intolerant.

“Thus, those who reject PSI are discriminatory and intolerant rules. In my opinion, the PSI’s refusal of religious rules does not have its business with blasphemy, it is too far and far-fetched, ”he concluded.

As it is known, Eggi Sudjana, who is the Attorney General of PPMI Zulkhair, told Grace Natalie to the Criminal Investigation Department of the National Police about cases of alleged blasphemy today, Friday 11/16. Grace was reported with alleged violation of article 156A of the Criminal Code, article 27, paragraph 3 of the junct. Article 28, paragraph 2 of the article 14 juncto Article 15 of Law No. 1 of 1946 concerning the Criminal Code.

This report is linked to Grace Natalie’s statement that her party will never support regional rules (perda) based on religion. This, Grace said, is one of three missions that PSI legislative members will perform if they are trusted to sit in parliament.

“PSI will prevent the birth of injustice, discrimination and all manifestations of intolerance in this country. PSI will never support regional rules or sharia rules. It is no longer necessary to close places of worship with force, ”said Grace at the PSI HUT event. ICE BSD, Tangerang, Sunday (11/11) night.
