Spotify will test the ability to upload your own MP3 files to your account.

More than any of us, it happened that we remember a song that we had not listened to for a long time, and that we saved it as an MP3, but when searching for it in our music service streaming we are disappointed that it is unavailable.

Currently music services streaming Apple Music, Google Music and Deezer give us the ability to upload our own MP3 files to our account and sync them to the rest of our devices. However, the most popular service for all – Spotify – does not allow.

But everything seems to indicate that this will change soon, as they have discovered the secret in the Spotify app for Android, which shows the ability to upload our MP3 files to our account, as you can see in the following screenshots:

As you can see in the above images, the interface looks quite advanced, so perhaps this new and expected feature may be very close to release for all users of a successful platform.

If Spotify differs from its competitor in that you offer the ability to download MP3 directly from your smartphone, since at least the Apple Music and Deezer platforms allow it only in their desktop applications.

At the moment we do not know the date when this new feature can be released, and on what platforms it will be available.
