Mario Rosas determines the High Command of the Carabinieri: six officers rise to the inspecting generals and five more retire



It is worth remembering that along with the controversial departure of Hermes Soto from the General Directorate of the Carabinieri, another 10 generals were called upon to retreat, so the configuration of the new High Command remained an unsolved task.

Less than a week after Mario Rosas took the office of Carabineros CEO, a new statement of higher education authorities for 2019 was announced on Thursday.

In this sense, six new general inspectors were supposed. These are General Diego Olata Pinares, General Ricardo Janes Reveco, General Mauricio Gonzalez Marin, General Jorge Valenzuela Hernandez, General Gonzalo del Alcazar Sandoval and General Mauricio Rodriguez Rodriguez.

In addition, five other generals resigned: General Rodrigo Herrera Torres, General Nelson Valenzuela Ruz, General Ricardo Contreras Faundes, General Juan Badilla Alistair and General Miguel Hara Quezada.

On the other hand, 19 more officials grew from colonels to generals.
