Woman accused after 3 threats of an explosion in business Stuyake

A 33-year-old woman faces charges after repeatedly threatening a business in Steviak, North Carolina.

The RCMP reports that the woman threatened to harm business and personnel on November 25, December 1 and December 27.

Every time a business was evacuated, the RCMP explosives officers searched police dogs. Firefighters and paramedics also answered every call.

The officers searched the residence at Stewiacke on Thursday as part of their investigation, but found no evidence of an explosion.

The woman, who is originally from Stuyake, was arrested and faced with three points of threat and three points of harm. It should appear in the Truro District Court on March 20.
