While we are here in Canada, we are waiting until Samsung's Android 9 Pie build comes out, details about what to expect from a software update are starting to be filtered thanks to the owners of Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 +, who already have an update on their devices.
In accordance with SammobileThe final build of Samsung 9.0 does not include the Android storage feature.
It seems that Samsung was getting ready to finally add support for this feature, which allows Android users to use an SD card for dedicated storage of apps, files and multimedia for smartphones when it began beta testing Android 9 Pie.
Although Samsung does not seem to have included acceptable storage in its latest version of Android, this does not mean that the company will not add this feature to the later builds of Android 9 Pie or even later versions of Android.
Google added adaptable storage for Android back in 6.0 Marshmallow.
Samsung launched its official build of Android 9 Pie earlier this month. The update has not yet reached Canada. In fact, neither Rogers nor Telus lists the update as part of their software maps.
