Hideo Itami’s tenure at WWE came to an end.
According to the Fightful report, 205 Live star has requested and will receive its release from the company. He fought in his last match tonight, since he lost to Akira Tozawa. There will be 90 days without competition, so do not expect it to immediately appear in an independent circuit.
Itami made his debut in the NXT back in 2014. However, injuries interfered with his career and injured several of his aftershocks. Over the past two years, he has been a part of 205 Live. He was last pinned at a Royal Rumble Cruiserweight championship match.
