In the space center of Vancouver will be a party to observe the super-wolf moon

Space Center. R. McMillan holds a grand party to watch one of the biggest celestial events of 2019.

The center remains open late for a total lunar eclipse and offers a special show in the Planetarium Star Theater. They encourage visitors to learn more about the moon and eclipses and open an observatory so that guests can check the moon near the telescope. Moreover, the next total lunar eclipse will occur no earlier than 2021, which makes the event special.

However, if it is a rainy night, the center will provide a live broadcast of the eclipse at the Star Theater Planetarium.

The observatory is open from 18:30 to 22:30, but the performance of the Star Theater Planetarium will be held from 19:00 to 20:00. Of course, a total eclipse occurs between 8:41 pm and 9:43 pm, so you will have time to watch a show in the planetarium, and also visit the rest of the observatory.

When: Sunday, January 20, 2019, from 18:30 to 22:00.
Where: Space Center. R. Macmillan – Park Vannier, street Chestnut 1100
Cost: Adult: $ 14; Child: $ 8.50; Youth / Senior: $ 11; Family (5 people; maximum 2 adults): $ 41
