The long-awaited remake of Resident Evil 2 has already been released, and it has been praised by critics and fans. Before its release, Capcom announced that the new content will be on the way for free, and it turns out that it will appear pretty soon. The publisher has confirmed that Ghost Survivors DLC will be released on February 15
Ghost Survivors gives players the opportunity to experience the game from three new perspectives. According to Capcom, the regime will “investigate what-if stories about the three unfortunate souls who have never left Raccoon City.” In No Time to Mourn, players will play out as the owner of a gun shop; in Runaway, they will play for the daughter of the mayor; and the Forgotten Soldier puts them in the boots of a soldier.
Resident Evil 2 was launched for PS4, Xbox One and PC on January 25th and has already proved a great success for Capcom. In the UK, the game debuted at the top of the sales chart. The title also received almost universal acclaim from critics, including GameSpot; we honored him with 9/10 in our review of Resident Evil 2 and called it "a terrible experience like no other."
“Resident Evil 2 is not only a stellar remake of the original, but also just a strong horror game that causes disturbing and grotesque situations, leading some of the best recordings in the series,” wrote critic Alessandro Filliari. "But, first of all, the remake is an impressive game, because it goes all out on the pure experience of the horrors of survival, confidently accepting its terrifying tone and rarely stooping to complete the story."
