A man died of a virus in Pazardzhik, his daughter struggles for life

A 55-year-old man died after complications of viral diseases at the Regional Hospital in Pazardzhik, said the director of a medical institution, Dr. Vasil Valchev, quoted by Focus.

According to him, the man was taken to the emergency department of the hospital after he was sick at home for several days. He sought medical help when he felt very ill.

"The patient arrived in a very serious condition with complications from viral diseases and associated diseases."said Dr. Valchev.

Despite the efforts of doctors, the man died.

He added that the 26-year-old daughter of a man with pneumonia was also admitted to the hospital. Two children with severe pneumonia are also housed in the intensive sector of the Second Children's Hospital.

"One child aged 8 months with severe pneumonia and muscle atrophy as a concomitant disease. Another 2 years, also with bronchopneumonia and cerebral palsy. Flu infection has always been very serious every year., There are also so-called forms of flu in the form of lightning, with complications that become very fast and deadly.“Valentin Danchev, MD, head of the children's hospital in Pazardzhik, said.

The hospital reported yesterday that a 2-year-old girl from Velingrad died of the flu, and as a result, she developed severe bilateral pneumonia. The child arrived in Pazardzhik without cardiac and respiratory activity.

"Despite our efforts, the girl died a few hours later. If they had brought the child the day before, we could have saved himAdded Dr. Danchev.

He added that the first complaints should start taking antiviral drugs, but not antibiotics, if there were no complications. “In poor condition, dry, frequent coughing and difficulty breathing, mothers do not treat their children alone, but immediately seek medical help,” the doctor advised.
