Club Brugge cannot give a winning bonus to Anderlecht and Standard players against Racing Genk. The rules of the Belgian Football Union are very clear about this. Even if the promotional bonus cannot be considered corruption, it is considered falsification of competition.
These two federal articles leave no doubt:
Article B308.2: “No one can be simultaneously involved in the control, administration and / or sports activities of more than one club participating in one competition.”
Article B2006.12 Among the attempts or actions considered as falsification of the competition, one finds: “to offer or give an advantage that is considered significant for the players of the club, except him, while this one is interested in the classification of his match result
This rule applies to both Club Brugge and Racing Genk.
