Nazmul Huda cannot be disqualified from elections … – 705384 | Kaler kanto

The full verdict of the High Court was published by the former Minister of Communications, Barrister Nazmul Khudaya, four years in prison, and his wife, Advocate Sigma Huda, was declared a jail sentence. The sentence was published more than a year after the verdict was passed in the state court. In the 67-page verdict, Nazmulu Hude was ordered to surrender in a lower court to use the sentence. The lower court was asked to surrender within 45 days after the copy of the verdict. Najmul Huda, who was disqualified for the upcoming parliamentary elections, said the court had sentenced him to take the necessary steps to arrest Nasmul Huda if he did not surrender within the time limit. But Nazmulu Hude will have to surrender to take part in the elections. Then he will have to appeal the sentence in prison. Legal experts believe that after receiving a court order, they may be candidates for elections if they receive instructions.

Judge of the High Court of Justice Bhabani Prasad Singh and Judge Mostaf Zaman Islam gave a short verdict on November 8 last year. The full court verdict was published on Sunday on the Supreme Court’s own website.

The Nasmul Khuda party will have the opportunity to appeal to the appeals department the claim of the Supreme Court. ACC lawyer Khurshid Alam Khan said that Nazmulu Hude will have to surrender in court before the appeal. He said that because of this verdict, Nazmul Huda became unacceptable for the upcoming elections.

In the verdict, it was said that corruption is a curse. Corruption is everywhere. Corruption of any public servant not only undermines the foundations of society, but also harms national interests and the economy. The verdict says that when a person comes to the top position of the government and abuses power, this corruption causes enormous damage to the economy, national interests and image of the country.

On March 21, 2007, ACC filed a case against the couple with the Dhanmondi police station against the couple for a bribe in the amount of 2.4 million tr. From a contractor called Actor Hossein Limited, the management company of Mir Jahir Hossain. In this case, the Special Court of Justice, established in the hostel of deputy Jati Sangsad, sentenced Nazmul Hud to seven years of conviction, and Sigma Huda was sentenced to 3 years in prison on August 27 of that year. The couple appealed to the High Court. After the appeal hearing, the High Court acquitted them in a sentence of March 20, 2011. The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) appealed the decision of the Supreme Court in the appeals department. The Appeals Division then overturned the High Court’s verdict on December 1, 2014, and again ordered a trial before the High Court. The High Court again gave the verdict after hearing. It is alleged that the verdict was confirmed by the statement of bribery against a couple of Nasmul Hud. However, the court reduced the sentence of seven years from Nazmul Huda to seven years to four years. The sentence of Sigma Huda has been reduced to three years. The High Court gave the verdict of punishment to Sigma Hude, since he was in prison at the moment. An ACC lawyer said Sigma Huda had been in prison for almost a year and a half.
