Gerald Mayer becomes boss Amagat from March 2019

From March 1, 2019, he heads Helmut Wieser (65) as chief executive officer. This was announced by the company after yesterday's meeting of the Supervisory Board.
The contract of the chief technical officer Helmut Kaufman (55) was also extended by the Supervisory Board until 12/31/2022. Mayer, who has been the CFO since 2007, will perform this function in addition to his role as Chief Executive Officer until the appointment of a CFO.
In accordance with the press release, the supervisory board also decided to immediately initiate the search process in order to fill in the sales management board in order to best support the growth course that he had begun. Thus, the company increases the level of top management from the previous three to four people.
New Board at B & C
B & C Privatstiftung, which owns a controlling stake in Amag, Lenzing AG and Semperit, has a new Executive Board member. The board includes Norbert Zimmermann, the main shareholder and chairman of the supervisory board of Berndorf AG and chairman of the supervisory board of Schoeller-Bleckmann Oilfield Equipment. Zimmermann takes the position of Stefan Fida, who intervened in the fall of 2017 after the death of board member George Bautin.
