Maria Eugenia Vidal replied to the mayor of Mar del Plata: "I was never concerned about the place in the act"

After the episode in which the mayor of Mar del Plata starred, Carlos Arroyo, during the official opening of the public beaches of Happy, Governor Maria Eugenia Vidal sharply criticized him and said: "I never cared for a place in one action."

The provincial president said that when the government presents work for neighbors, they are the main actors, not politicians. So he referred to the Arroyo attitude, who decided to leave the event, because he did not like to be in the sunbeam and behind the fence.

“I don’t know very well what happened, because when I arrived, the mayor was no longer there. The truth is that I never cared about the protocol or the place I had to take in the act, ”Vidal said in an interview with FM Atlantis.

The episode, which occurred on Friday, left an inner view of Cambias and strained relations with the head of the Mar del Plata community. According to the data received, Arroyo did not have a repair to express his disagreement with the small main character, which they gave him from the government, and when he left the place, he confirmed: "This is not a decent place for the occupant, do what you want, I'm leaving."

The place reserved for him by the provincial protocol staff was with journalists and other officials. But his anger also intensified when he saw that the national deputy Guillermo Montenegro, seeking to participate in Mar del Plata, was Vidal’s only guest for the first tour of the public beach.

Having consulted on this issue, the governor showed caution and did not intervene in the electoral campaign of 2019: "The fact that there are several people who want to become mayor of this city seems valuable for change, and there are always steps that need to be taken."

Finally, she said that she believes that people value politicians for what they do, and not for the place they occupy: “They value us for our commitment every day and they rate us in every election for that.”
