“I am very grateful for the face transplant, because it gives me a second chance in life,” he said.

The unusual story of Cameron would not have been possible without his donor, William Fisher, 23, who was an aspiring writer and director who died suddenly on the eve of New Year 2017 after a long battle with mental illness.
