Fuel sales continue into a corkscrew. According to the Energy Secretariat, the supply of gasoline and diesel in October last year decreased by 2.8% compared with the same month in 2017.
The main reason for the fall was a sharp drop in the commercialization of premium naphtha on an annualized basis, which decreased by 28.8% due to the consistent increase in prices at the pumps. A year later, he moved from the sale of 253 thousand cubic meters to 180 thousand. With the highest quality Diesel, Grade 3, the same thing happened. The decline in sales was 6.6% over the past 12 months.
With the accumulated price increase of over 70% this year, the market is still headed by YPF, which already concentrates 60% of sales. Axion Energy (PAE) increased by 10.2% in September compared to the same period last year, while Shell (Raízen) oil company fell 4.3%.
