New track / new EP: find out what stands behind "Broken Horses", the new Twin Shadow
George Lewis Jr. is back, and his new episode is amazing.
Since April 2018, George Lewis, Jr., seemed to be in a very quiet format of rediscovery and self-study, but today his neutrality has reached the necessary break after the release of the new track, which in turn, it is presented in the form of old-school EP singles.
What do we mean by this?
In addition, the original track is called “Broken Horses”, but the release, as such, is accompanied by four other edits, such as “Edit Santo Domingo”, “Edit Port-Antonio” and its two instrumental versions.
How does this sound? What are you talking about?
The track itself is a small hymn of detachment; freedom To the indomitable heat of love, which is desired but cannot be.
Knows jealousy, insecurity; Know to see the dawn in the eyes of someone you love, but this simply cannot be, because love brings with it a cage to which we cannot get used.
This is on a lyrical level, but on a sound level, there is an implicit Dominican heat that throws a delightful bachata that does not lose this “indie” and alternative touch, as it flies over the genre, but I cannot say if in reality it lands on the classic basics.
However, it is a gem. A hug to the heart.
Listen to him here, and before Twin Shadow begins to conquer 2019, enter this new sound that evolved from the deepest feeling in George Lewis Jr.'s mind.
