Oppo announced the release of its new mid-range smartphone Oppo A7 in India. Series A has been one of the best-selling smartphone series for the company since its launch in India.
Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor, the Oppo A7 features a 6.2-inch HD + Incell screen with a 88.4% screen-to-case ratio and a drain cut, as well as Corning Gorilla Glass for scratch resistance. There is also a fingerprint scanner on the back.
One of the highlights of the Oppo A7 is its large 4.230 mAh battery. Large capacity, combined with a lower resolution display and a modest chipset, should provide even greater energy savings.
Oppo A7 manages ColorOS 5.2 Android skin, offering Google lens integration, a Smart Bar window for multitasking, and audio only playback for local videos. Unfortunately, this skin is based on Android 8.1, and not on Android Pie, so do not expect features such as motion control on the hard disk or adaptive brightness.
