Most people know that astrology signs refers to the time of year during which you were born. There are 12 signs, each having its own element and quality. According to astrologists, you can determine personality types based on a sign. According to my sign on Wikipedia < http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Astrological_sign >, Scorpio, I’m fixed (focus, powerful concentration, individuality and determination), water (imagination, human feelings and one’s ability to love and sustain), and interpersonal (principally aware of and concerned with others and sociality). Sounds pretty close to me I think.

One of my friends is a Cancer, which is cardinal (initiation and creativity), water (imagination, human feelings and one’s ability to love and sustain), personal (principally aware of and concerned with the self). I’m buying the water element, but creativity? Admittedly (by her, of course), not so much. Selfish? Not a chance.

As for sign compatibility, I checked Scorpio and Aries. In a nutshell, the union is powerful, sexuality will dominate the relationship, and our views would make us “clash intensely”. Not to worry; the rest of that paragraph says that the clashing will lead to great makeup sex and so sometimes we’ll argue just for the hell of it.

Although astrology is a definite source of entertainment for me, and I love get my daily dose, I don’t think I’ll rely on it much. The psychic may have hit a couple things, but what are the chances of that happening again? I’d rather live life and let it happen, than bank everything on the month I was born. Like I can really control when my parents were getting it on.
