I’ve Read Some Reviews for ATT Uverse and Here’s My Own
Personally I think that U-Verse has got to be the best product out there. We were fed up with Time Warner after they cut our channels and the internet was down for large periods of time. I’d heard talk about ATT Uverse back in June of last year and decided to wait some time to switch over to Att Uverse while they worked out their kinks in Los Angeles. Meanwhile I did my research and found some good sites for att uverse reviews.
So the installer finally came at 3:30 PM, about 1.5 hrs late, and he tried hooking stuff up but stated that our crawl space had rodents which it did not. So he said a technician would come the following day. The next AM I could not be there but my pop was and the second installer could not do the install and had my dad do it (YES IT WAS THAT UNBELIEVABLE). After the install disaster I called U-Verse and they discounted our 1st month. By the way, people talk about cable tv customer service. Uverse just GETS IT when it comes to serving customers.
So anyway, so far the Internet is instant and we are close to the box so we obtain the faster speeds. I can already differentiate from Time Warner the pages. It seem to come up faster and we don’t have any down time or need to fiddle with the hardware. On our cable we would lose our DNS signal. You also have the option of visiting any Starbucks and use the internet without paying anything. For me this was a pretty big selling point.
I’m always telecommuting so this rocks. The tv is cool and I love the DVR. You can tape up to 4 programs at one time during the same time period. We currently have the 200 Channel Package with SD channels. We do not need any more stations at this point. Also, If you have an ATT mobile you can also hook up your shows from there. The installation stunk but overall we’ve been happy with everything.
